statement piece research: these boots were made for walking
So let's talk boots... or, more specifically, boots that were made to be statement pieces. I am obsessed with those options that really give you bang for your buck and sparkle, shimmer, and really compliment your bad self. So here's the list of the best and brightest:
BADASS BOOT #1: BLACK PEACOCK UGGS
I loved these Uggs from the minute I saw them online. These really stand out from the many comfortable boots out there- they bring a bit of color and glamour to the mix!
BADASS BOOT #2: JEFFREY CAMPBELL LARUSSO BOOTIES
I bought these babies on sale from Nasty Gal a while back right before my first trip to New York. They look fancy and sophisticated and I love the Jeffrey Campbell brand because Jeffrey Campbell always manages to create affordable shoes that look a lot more expensive than they are. The Jeffrey Campbell brand is also all about those eclectic and unique options that really stand out in your closet.
BADASS BOOT #3: TOPSHOP GLITTER BOOTIES
I love these because they really stand out! Plus they look like the more expensive Marc Jacobs version as well! I love pairing these with my black pants for a clean line with a little extra pizazz.
BADASS BOOT #4: SEYCHELLES EMBROIDERED ANKLE BOOT
I love the embroidery on these boots! This stylish accent makes any outfit pop!
BADASS BOOT #5: Sam Edelman Gold Metallic Boot
I used to have a pair of metallic Jeffrey Campbell boots that I wore all the time, but sadly I wore them out after a year or two. I spent forever looking for a replacement and I finally came across these at Nordstrom Rack-- crisis averted!
BADASS BOOT #6: FENDI COMBAT BOOTS
These are definitely out of my usual price point but they are too beautiful to ignore. Sigh....maybe someday.
BADASS BOOT #7: JEFFREY CAMPBELL HAWTHORNE BOOTIES
I love the simultaneously rock and western style of these Jeffrey Campbell booties!
